Planning public access
The purpose of the planning system is to facilitate new development in a manner that contributes positively to the local area and to ensure it takes place in accordance with policies contained within the Development Plan. Residents are able to examine applications for development within the Borough of Ealing through the search provisions on this site. Once found, comments on an application can be submitted directly to the case officer and a request for a meeting can be made via this site.
The purpose of this web site is to allow the users to interrogate Planning Data held by the Council. To search for an application that may interest you, please use the link 'planning applications'. This facility enables search by reference number, applicant name, address, ward and between specified dates. Where an application is current, then comments on that application can be made direct to the case officer.
The Major Developments section of this web site contains a list of all current applications which are considered to be major applications within the borough.
Thinking of submitting an application?
You can visit the customer services reception and talk to the duty planner to discuss your proposal prior to the formal submission of an application. This will lead to less abortive work and you will be able to get a clear idea as to the acceptability of your proposal prior to the submission of an application. This is a free service for small scale developments.
